Three rules for pair programming with AI

Hand off small tasks, always read the result yourself, and write the context down. Rules that held up in real projects.

AI tools are fast, but how you delegate decides how good the output is.

1. Delegate in small pieces

"Build me a blog" goes badly. "Add pagination to this component" goes well.

2. Read the result yourself

Passing tests don't guarantee the code does what you meant. Reading the diff is the cheapest insurance you have.

3. Write the context down

# AGENTS.md
- Styling: CSS variables only, no hard-coded colors
- Data: always go through src/lib/notion.ts

When the rules live in the repo, people and tools work from the same playbook.
