Template Guide

Getting started — your blog live in five minutes

Install, rename the site, pick your colors, and publish your first post. No Notion account required — Markdown works out of the box.

This is a sample post bundled with the template. Skim it once, then replace it with your own writing.

1. Install

pnpm install
pnpm dev

Open http://localhost:4321 and you'll see this exact site.

2. Make it yours

Everything lives in one file: site.config.ts at the project root.

export const siteConfig = {
  name: "Pixel Notes",
  tagline: "A tech blog written in Notion, published with Astro",
  url: "https://example.com",
  lang: "en", // or "ko"
  author: { name: "Your Name", initial: "Y", role: "Frontend Developer" },
  colors: { accent: "#0f766e", accentBright: "#14b8a6" },
};
Key What it does
name Brand name in the nav, titles, logo, and JSON-LD
lang UI language — English and Korean ship by default
colors Accent colors, injected as CSS variables for both themes
socials Links on the About page and author card
adsenseClient Leave empty to disable ads entirely

3. Write your first post

Add a .md file to src/content/posts/. That's it — delete these samples whenever you like.

Prefer writing in Notion? Put NOTION_TOKEN and NOTION_DATABASE_ID in .env. When both are set, the site switches to Notion automatically.
